beginning something new

bravery does not have to be adventurous. sometimes it can look like going to your first yoga class, in your own city.

recently i attended my first yoga class. i was worried about the heat in the room. but it turned out to be better than i expected. i managed to stay inside the room for the whole class and did not need to leave to get some air. what surprised me is where the pain showed up in my body. the bottom of my feet began to bother me and caused me to loose balance. i would never think that the ball part of my feet would hurt during my yoga practice.

i don’t really hear about how active lifestyle impact women who are on the spectrum. and the reason why i say that, is because, for a very long time, I tried to create a fitness schedule but i couldn’t. i created a routine that did not work with my mental and physical health. the routine worked against me. it was good during the two weeks when my energy is good. but as soon as my energy decreases, i become lethargic and my lifestyle changes.

needless to say that i need two differently routines and two different lifestyles. right now, i am focusing on creating a balanced lifestyle that supports my needs when my energy is low and, that also supports my energy when it is turned up.
